Julie Speaks Out

Ok Daddy - here is my choice after the 2nd debate I have watched:

1. Santorum
2. Ron Paul
3. Newt
4. Mitt

The ? about how religion will be a part of your presidency -

1. Ron Paul
2. Santorum
3. Newt
4. Mitt

The ? about why are you the best choice to beat the asshole:

1. Santorum
2. Mitt
3. Newt
4. Ron Paul

My last comment is that I am sooooooooo sick of the Hispanics always being such a BIG subject in the debates!

I am READY for the next debate!

Craig Speaks Out

Another 4 years of the Obummer administration will mean continued assaults on free enterprise and increasing government intrusion and control over basic freedoms.

Massive continued federal deficits will lead to a weaker and weaker dollar which feeds higher commodity prices for everyone. Talk about a hidden tax on the poor and middle class! Higher taxes will lead to slower growth and muted employment recovery, another middle class punishment.

Obummers response will be more entitlements, more deficits, more taxes and more class warfare.

Not a pretty picture.

I am still hopeful that the 5 or 6 swing states the Republicans need to go their way in the next election will do so. If not, it will be another long 4 years.

Karen approves this message. Our mutts want Obummer to lose so we won't have to eat their dog food.

Poppy Speaks Out

Thursday night on CNN much better than the boring show on NBC this Monday

Santorum was the winner tonight
Paul was the show clown but again he had some good ideas
Mitt has improved but still short overall
Newt was the weakest tonight

Who could beat Obama?
I hope one of the four but I doubt it
Obama is such a persuasive liar!

Thank God for Fox News - fair and balanced!

John Speaks Out

For the record, Wolf is an ASS!

Here are my winners by topic:
- Immigration: Romney. Not too sure about Newt’s position on grandmas.

- Latin America Trade: Santorum
- Housing market: Ron Paul – I liked his idea of disassembling Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

- Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac discussion between Newt and Romney, I think Romney won that discussion.
- Taxes: Paul

- Space Program: tie between Paul and Santorum. I loved Paul’s comment that some politician should be sent to the moon.

- Health Insurance: Santorum

- Cuba Trade: Newt

- Israel: tie between Newt and Romney.

- Religious Belief: Santorum

- Beat Sambo: Newt tied with Santorum

Overall winner tonight: Santorum

Mark Speaks Out

Still Newt. Again, I believe America is too stupid (see Walt Williams aligned perspective below if you need any re-assurance) to elect someone that sharp and pragmatic, because too many people:

- Do not have the patience or capacity to listen to more than short, politically correct ,populist soundbites. No math, please. Just give the people what they want!

- The truth, the math, the history, the case studies, suggest hard choices must to be made for our country to get healthy again. No more handouts. No more entitlements. Everyone who can, works and makes sacrifices. Wow, that sounds like too much effort. I’d rather continue to let Papa Government take care of me.

- Lie about what they truly value. Just look at the TV ratings for the absolute trash on air every night of the week. I am sure the internet would be downright frightening if they could track that too. The lowest common denominator has reached epic proportions in our society. The moral decline continues. There are no moral absolutes. Everything is justified. By us.

Santorum – Picking up ground. Principled, honest individual – not afraid to admit he has been wrong (Mitt, Mitt, listen to him and wipe that permanent smirk off your face). Showed more fight tonight than I have seen. Appeared to have decent command on a host of topics.

Mitt –Still blah, blah, blah… more republican rhetoric. Shameless. Globbed onto other’s original responses when the applause meter was high. Unfortunately, he may be able to purchase the nomination with his millions. Can we see your tax return? And stop blinking so much when you get backed into a corner.

Perry – Still too much of a hawk. But I like his bravado to tell it like it is and take action. Suspect he may be dropping out soon, along with Paul.

Paul –The spaceship and crew are ready for departure. This is our final boarding call to Mars.

The Walter Williams Commentary

Obama's reelection is really a very, very simple math problem. Consider the following:

1) Blacks will vote for Obama blindly. Period. Doesn't matter what he does. It's a race thing. He's one of us,

2) College educated women will vote for Obama. Though they will be offended by this, they swoon at his oratory. It's really not more complex than that,

3) Liberals will vote for Obama. He is their great hope,

4) Democrats will vote for Obama. He is the leader of their party and his coat tails will carry them to victory nationwide,

5) Hispanics will vote for Obama. He is the path to citizenship for those who are illegal and Hispanic leaders recognize the political clout they carry in the Democratic Party,

6) Union members will vote overwhelmingly for Obama. He is their key to money and power in business, state and local politics,

7) Big Business will support Obama. They already have. He has almost $1 Billion dollars in his reelection purse gained largely from his connections with Big Business and is gaining more every day. Big Business loves Obama because he gives them access to taxpayer money so long as they support his social and political agenda,

8) The media love him. They may attack the people who work for him, but they love him. After all, to not love him would be racist,

9) Most other minorities and special interest groups will vote for him. Oddly, the overwhelming majority of Jews and Muslims will support him because they won't vote Republican. American Indians will support him. Obviously homosexuals tend to vote Democratic. And lastly,

10) Approximately half of independents will vote for Obama. And he doesn't need anywhere near that number because he has all of the groups previously mentioned. The President will win an overwhelming victory in 2012.
